What is breathwork?

Honestly, breathwork is a pretty vague term. You may be familiar with that thing you do, all day, everyday, without even thinking    you know, breathing? There is also pranayama, yogic breathwork, breathwork meditation, the Wim Hof Method and so many copywritten names that it is difficult to keep up. Regardless, breathwork is something that has can be found in many ancient cultures and religions: Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Sufism and more. Western research can even be traced back as early as the late 1800s. The effect that a breathwork practice (in any form) has on an individual's life is incredible. 

Breathwork has been the most transformative practice of my life. I can sum it up by saying, "you breathe and induce your own euphoria in your mind" because this can help you alter your state of consciousness for a personal and spiritual journey. When you breathe, you can allow the critic in your brain to shut off and actually allow your mind to take in...peace. When you're in this state, you can heal. The beauty of breathwork is the answer, the message    the whole experience is internal    it is all coming from inside of YOU. Whatever you needed, will be coming from you. I will be there as your facilitator to support you through your experience and guide you to your breathwork breakthrough. 

Each breathwork class (private or group) combines breathing with music as you lay wrapped in a blanket. In this environment, you are safe to be you, be free, and release. 

 A private breathwork session combines life coaching and breathwork to help you achieve your potential in a single session. Trust me, the shift you experience in a single session is incredible! Length is approximately 90 minutes.

All experiences are shared from the perspective of that unique individual, and are not meant to be taken as medical or psychological advice. Please always consult your healthcare provider with any questions prior to attempting something new.

What is a life coach?

Think of a life coach as someone who is there to support you on your journey, like an accountability buddy, and someone who can see your whole picture and help you sprint towards your dreams. Throughout our sessions, we will be able to deep dive, uncovering any aspects in your life that are actively holding you back, break your blocks, and help you live up to your full potential. Life coaching can address various aspects of you, and is a serious mental and emotional commitment. Where each session can go is completely dependent upon you, but at the end of the day, you can expect to release what holds you back, dream big, and start achieving your greatest desires    living up to your fullest potential.

With life coaching, we dig deep in the the real you and unlock your potential over multiple sessions. Length is 75 minutes per session.

*Disclaimer* Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with a history of cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery. Breathwork is not advised for persons with severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using major medications. It is also unsuitable for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms. Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician and the Breathwork class facilitator.
